On August 22, antisocial elements attacked a school van in Pakistan's Punjab province. Shooters opened fire on the school van. Two innocent children died in this incident. This incident took place in Dheri Kot area of ​​Attock district, about 400 km from Lahore. According to the police, the school van was going to drop the children to school, when unknown attackers opened fire on it.

Giving more information about the incident, the police said that seven children aged 5 to 10 years were injured in the attack. All were taken to the hospital, where two innocent children died, while the condition of the other two children is said to be critical. Also, the driver also suffered serious injuries. Senior police officer Sardar Gyaas Gul said that police teams have been formed to arrest the shooters with the help of CCTV footage.
