After eating Prasad, from late Monday to Tuesday morning, more than 100 people, including children and women, started deteriorating suddenly. On seeing this, there was a crowd of patients in the Community Health Center (CHC) and private hospitals and there was an outcry in the entire area.

Where and when did this incident happen?

This incident is of the Devi Temple located on Sahawar Road in Ganjdundwara police station area of ​​Kasganj district. Devi Jagran was organized here on Monday. After the program, Bhandare was organized for the devotees at around 11 pm, in which the offerings of Pudi, Vegetable and Bundi were distributed. People received the offerings with reverence and went to their respective homes.

Vomiting and diarrhea started at night

The process of trouble started after midnight. People eating prasad suddenly started complaining of stomach ache, vomiting and diarrhea. Initially, people ignored it as a normal thing, but when children, big and women started falling ill in many houses after another, there was panic among the people. By morning, the number of sick people crossed 100.

The atmosphere of chaos in hospitals

There was a stir in the health department as soon as the news of a large number of people fell ill. The sick people were immediately admitted to the Community Health Center of Ganjdundwara and private hospitals nearby. Due to so many patients reaching together, there was an atmosphere of chaos in hospitals. However, the team of doctors and health workers immediately took the front and started treating patients.

Health department officials have reached the spot and started investigation. The condition of most of the people who have been victims of food poisoning is now being told out of danger, but as a precaution, a team of Health Department is camping in the area. Samples of Prasad made in Bhandare have also been sent for investigation, so that the real causes of food poisoning can be ascertained.
