The latest incident has come to light with e-commerce giant Amazon India, where a startup founder was handed a packet of ‘Ghadi’ detergent in exchange for a GIGABYTE RTX 5090 graphics card worth a whopping ₹2.9 lakh. The victim user shared his pain on social media and said that Amazon closed his complaint within just 15 minutes and also refused to give a refund.
Ordered RTX 5090 for startup, got 1 kg surf pack
A user named Swagat Nayak informed about this incident on social media platform X (Twitter). He told that he had ordered the most expensive and powerful graphics card for his startup. According to the welcome, this ‘Fulfilled by Amazon’ (FBA) It was ordered, which means it came packed and shipped straight from an Amazon authorized warehouse. On receiving the parcel, he noticed that the seal of the box was cut and a fake aftermarket barcode was pasted on it.
