Raipur, August 4 (HS). The Tribal and Scheduled Caste Development Department has invited online applications from willing and eligible young men and women candidates of Scheduled Tribe, Scheduled Caste and Other Backward Classes of the state to prepare for the civil service examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission through free coaching under the scheme in New Delhi. The last date for submission of online application forms is 5th August at 12:00 midnight. Eligibility and conditions for selection
For this, it is mandatory for the applicant to be a native of Chhattisgarh. The applicant should be from Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Other Backward Class and should be a permanent caste certificate holder of Chhattisgarh state. It will be the responsibility of the applicant to prove whether the applicant is included in the list of Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe declared for Chhattisgarh state by the Government of India and Other Backward Class declared by the Chhattisgarh Government and if the applicant submits wrong details in this regard, he will be deprived of the benefits of this scheme. The minimum age should be 20 years and maximum 30 years as on 1st August. The applicant should have passed the graduation examination from a recognized university or college. There is no restriction on income limit for applicants of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe category and such applicants of Other Backward Class whose parents' annual income is up to the income limit prescribed for creamy layer will be eligible for admission. For this, income certificate issued by the competent authority will have to be submitted. Such candidates who are currently working in any government service will not be eligible for this scheme. The benefit of the scheme will be given to the selected candidates only once.
Coaching duration and allotted seats

Selection of candidates on the new 135 seats will be subject to financial and administrative approval from the government.
General instructions for coaching for civil services examination conducted by Union Public Service Commission The duration of coaching under the training period in the year 2024-25 will be maximum 10 months. On being selected for the interview, the candidates will be provided training for the interview, the expenses of which will be borne by the scheme. Coaching will be determined from the coaching institutes empanelled by the Tribal and Scheduled Caste Development Department, which are located in New Delhi. Seats fixed under the scheme 50 seats + 135 seats = 185 seats (ST-50%, SC-30%, OBC-20%) (33% reserved for women in each category) Selection of candidates on the new 135 seats will be subject to financial and administrative approval from the government.
