When both the leaders came out after this meeting, they called it a normal and courtesy call.
Azam Khan said, “We are old friends. There may be differences in politics, but there should be no distance in relations. This meeting was just a courtesy call.”
At the same time, Swami Prasad Maurya also termed it as formal and said, “I had come to meet Azam Saheb. He is a big leader of the state’s politics. We have discussed the current situation of the country and the state.”
