Mumbai – On Sunday, a loving couple committed suicide by jumping in front of the train at Vikhroli station. The suicide note received by the police revealed that the couple took a step to kill the 20 -year -old youth and the 15 -year -old minor’s love affair.
The young man and minor were residents of Hanuman Nagar in Bhadup. Both were introduced to each other a few months ago. As soon as the minor’s family came to know about his love affair, he decided to send the minor to the village. To stop this, the young man went to meet the minor’s father on the morning of 26 January and also requested him to accept his relationship. However, Sagira’s family did not change the decision to send his daughter to the village after rejecting the young man’s talk.
The family members of Sagira filed a case of kidnapping against the youth in the police station. When failed to convince the family, the couple reached Vikhroli station at 1.50 pm on the same day and committed suicide by jumping in front of the Garib Rath Express train coming from nearby.
The railway police found a mobile phone and a suicide note from the youth’s pocket. In which the deceased has written the reason behind taking such a step. He committed suicide due to opposition from Sagira’s family. Both families are originally from Maharashtra, but the family of the minor did not accept this relationship due to ethnic inequality. The GRP registered a case of accidental death on the couple’s family.
