Under this scheme, Rs 6,000 is sent directly to the farmers’ bank accounts every year. Till now 20 installments have been released, and farmers are eagerly waiting for the 21st installment (21st PM Kisan installment). But an important news has come out: Some farmers will not get this installment! Which farmers will not get the 21st installment?

This time the government has tightened many rules in the scheme so that only eligible farmers can get its benefit and there is no misuse of any kind. Those farmers will not get the 21st installment who:

1. E-KYC has not been done: The government has given clear instructions that to avail the benefits of the scheme, it is mandatory for all the farmers to get their e-KYC done (PM Kisan e-KYC mandatory). Those farmers who have not got this work done, their installments may be stopped.
2. Verification of land documents has not been done: Those farmers who have not got the documents related to their land (land records verification) done by the Agriculture Department or Gram Panchayat, they will also not get this installment.
3. Aadhaar seeding has not taken place: It is very important to have Aadhar seeding in the bank account of the farmers, so that the money reaches the beneficiary’s account directly. Even if your Aadhaar card is not linked to the bank account, your installment will stop.
4. Violation of eligibility criteria: Farmers who no longer fulfill the PM Kisan eligibility criteria, such as if they are government employees, income tax payers, or have any pensioner in their family, can also be excluded from the scheme.
5. Incorrect information has been given: If any farmer has given wrong information while applying or has deliberately hidden the facts, then his installment will not only be stopped, the installment taken from him till now can also be recovered.

How to check your PM Kisan status?

• For this you go to the official website of PM Kisan.
• Click on the option of ‘Beneficiary Status’ in ‘Farmer Corner’.
• Enter your Aadhaar number or bank account number and click on ‘Get Data’.
• You will know along with your status whether you will get the installment or not, and if not, what is the reason for it.
