Traditional toll plazas and barriers on Ganga Expressway will become a thing of the past. Here ‘No-Stop Toll Collection System’ Has been implemented. State-of-the-art sensors and Artificial Intelligence (AI) Cameras equipped with technology will recognize the number plates of vehicles and toll will be deducted automatically without reducing the speed of the vehicle. This will provide relief from long jams during festivals or peak hours and save precious time of passengers.
AI cameras keep an eye on every corner
Taking security and surveillance to the next level, hi-tech AI cameras have been installed at every single kilometer on the expressway. These cameras will not only collect toll, but also:

No-entry of cattle, security cordon of barbed wire

Impenetrable fort for security: 6 new police posts and 52 police stations
Strict steps have been taken to strengthen the security arrangements of the expressway. Within a radius of 95 kilometers of Badaun district alone 6 new modern police posts are being established. The responsibility of security of the entire corridor will be with 52 police stations. Police forces and ambulances will be deployed 24 hours at these posts, so that in case of any emergency, help can be provided within minutes.
Main event will be held in Hardoi, live broadcast in Meerut
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate this expressway from Hardoi, while a huge public meeting will be organized near Binawar (Ghatpuri Interchange) of Badaun. DM Avnish Rao and SSP Ankita Sharma inspected the venue and intensified the preparations. Live telecast of this historic moment will be shown through LED screens in all the 12 districts connected to the expressway including Meerut.
