News India Live, Digital Desk: Have you ever thought that to see Jhansi Fort or Sarnath Stupa, you do not need to go anywhere, rather they come to you themselves? Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh is going to do something similar. To give a new height to the tourism of the state, the government is starting a unique scheme, under which now a glimpse of more than 500 historical and religious places of the state will be made available to the common people through mobile vans.

What is this unique scheme?

Under this scheme, the Tourism Department will send specially designed mobile vans to all the districts of the state. These vehicles will be fitted with large digital screens, on which photographs and videos of forts, palaces, temples, tombs and other important places depicting the glorious history of the state will be shown.

These mobile vans will be parked at schools, colleges, markets and other crowded places in your city, so that more and more people, especially the young generation, can connect with the rich heritage of their state.

Why was this initiative started?

The main objective of this initiative is to give recognition to those unknown historical and cultural places of Uttar Pradesh, about which people do not know much. The government wants people to know about these places and visit them, which will boost tourism in the state and also create employment opportunities at the local level.

The Directorate of Culture and Tourism has finalized this plan and soon you can see these vans like ‘Sanskriti Express’ running on the streets of your city. This initiative will not only provide information, but will also create a new curiosity in the minds of people to see and know the historical heritage of their state.
