News India Live, Digital Desk: We Ranchi people have an old habit. We think, “Hey, we are just going for 2 minutes,” and park our bike or car at a busy intersection or right on the side of the road. outcome? Complete traffic jam and wasted hours for the people behind. But now the police has geared up to stop this arbitrariness. If you are also one of those people who consider ‘no parking’ a joke, then be careful.

Police’s ‘bike squad’ entered the field

Ranchi traffic police has launched a Special Bike Squad Have prepared. These policemen will not sit at any one place, but will patrol the entire city on their motorcycles.

Their main job will be to keep an eye on those vehicles which are blocking the traffic by standing at intersections, turns, or in no-parking zones.

Action will happen as soon as you see it

Earlier what used to happen was that you would leave the vehicle and think that it would be seen only when the crane would come. But now this bike squad will take immediate action as soon as it sees a wrongly parked vehicle.

  • Invoice on the spot: If you are present there, the challan will be issued immediately.
  • Car Lock: If you are not there, a wheel clamp will be placed on your vehicle’s wheel or a photo will be taken and an online challan will be sent home.

Special attention will be kept on these places

This squad will be most active in those areas of the city which always suffer from traffic jams. Such as:

  • Main Road
  • Lalpur Chowk and Circular Road
  • Kachari Chowk and Ratu Road

It is often seen that auto drivers or bikers block the intersection while trying to get a ride. Now there is no good for such people.

Police appeal: Let the city breathe

The traffic department says that this strictness is not just for issuing challans, but to free us and you from the jam. Imagine, if we show a little wisdom and park our car only in the parking lot, how fast the pace of the city can be.

So next time you get down to eat samosas or buy vegetables, park your car at the right place. Lest it happen that in the process of getting samosas worth Rs 20, you end up losing Rs 500 or Rs 1000! The ‘bike squad’ is watching you.
