Now ₹100-₹200 notes will be dispensed from ATM! The tension of ‘not opening’ will end, big decision of RBI

When you withdraw a hard ₹ 500 note from the ATM and go to buy goods worth ₹ 50, you must have heard this line many times a day. To end this ‘Mahabharata of holidays’, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has taken such a big and relief decision, which will make the life of all of us easier. What is the new order of RBI? RBI has given strict instructions to all the banks of the country to make it mandatory to withdraw ₹ 100 and ₹ 200 notes from their ATM machines. So why was this decision taken? RBI knows very well that even though the era of UPI It may have arrived, but even today a large population of the country, especially in small markets, villages and towns, is dependent on cash for their daily expenses. When only ₹ 500 note is dispensed from ATM, people face great difficulty in making small purchases in the market. Understanding the problems of the common man, RBI has taken this step. When will ATMs start giving small notes? RBI has also set a deadline for this. All banks will have to prepare 90% of their ATM machines for this new rule by March 31, 2026. This means that by making changes in their ATM machines, banks will have to create a separate space (slot/cassette) to keep ₹ 100 and ₹ 200 notes. What will be the benefit to the common man? The hassle of ‘Khula’ is over: Now you will not have to worry about milk, vegetables or small things. End of arguments with shopkeepers: Now the excuse of “no change” will be heard less. Better flow of cash: The shortage of small notes in the market will be removed, which will make transactions even easier. This decision is a big relief for all those people who still use cash. Now ATM will dispense not only ‘big’ notes but also ‘essential’ notes!
