News India Live, Digital Desk: It is said that a person can tolerate everything, but if the matter comes to his self-respect, then even the biggest chair starts looking small. Something similar has happened in a prestigious university of Uttar Pradesh, which has shocked everyone.

Here the matter is between the administration and the ‘Chief Proctor’. It is reported that the Chief Proctor has suddenly resigned from his post. But this is no ordinary resignation. The reason behind this which he has given in the letter written to the VC has now become a topic of discussion.

“I had no other choice…”
Often we see that officers resign citing work pressure or personal reasons. But here the matter is directly of ‘injury to the heart’. If sources are to be believed, there was some tension going on between the Chief Proctor and the Vice Chancellor (VC).

Chief Proctor has clearly written in his resignation letter – “I have no other option but to resign to save my self-respect.”

Just imagine, how difficult would it have been for an officer to write this? He has also mentioned in the letter that his Personality And Nature But the kind of comments made hurt him deeply. He made it clear that work pressure can be tolerated, but if fingers are pointed at one’s own personality, then it is not acceptable.

Panic in the corridors of the university
As soon as this news came out, whispers started in the campus. People are raising questions as to what was said that the matter reached the point of resignation? The job of a Chief Proctor is to maintain discipline, and if the person making the discipline is fighting for his honor, then it raises big questions on the system.

self esteem above all
This incident is not just a news, but also a lesson. Be it a government job or a private one, everyone is hungry for respect. By taking this step, Chief Proctor proved that the prestige of the post has its place, but it is most important to remain high in one’s own eyes.

At present, everyone is waiting for the response from the VC office. But one thing is certain – this ‘letter’ has exposed the ongoing tussle within the administration.

What do you think about this? Is it the right decision to leave a job or position for the sake of respect? Please give your opinion in the comments.
