“Chitrakoot will not only be the center of religious faith, it is our goal to make it a model district from the point of view of development.” – This strong message was given by Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya, who was on a tour of Lord Ram’s Tapobhoomi Chitrakoot today. His visit was not just a formal tour, but a concrete effort to root out the development of the region and the problems here.

On reaching Chitrakoot, local leaders, party workers and common people warmly welcomed the deputy CM. Soon after, Mr. Maurya came into action mode and held an important meeting with the officials.

A close watch on every aspect of development

In this meeting held at the inspection building, the deputy CM made it clear that the all -round development of Chitrakoot is one of the biggest priorities of the state government. He reviewed all the development schemes running in the district and gave strict instructions to the officials.

  • Emphasis on these schemes: He had special emphasis on accelerating the schemes related to tourism, education, health, road, irrigation and employment. He said that these schemes should be seen not only on paper, but on the ground.

Not just meetings, direct communication with public

After the meeting with the officials, Mr. Maurya directly interacted with the public and local public representatives. He patiently heard the problems of the people and assured them that the government is serious about their every difficulty.

  • Instructions for immediate action on these problems: He believed that Drinking water, irrigation system, poor road conditions and health facilities Need to improve further. He instructed the officials to solve these problems as soon as possible.

Mr. Maurya said, “It should be ensured that the benefits of development schemes reach the public directly and on time, no negligence will be tolerated in this.”

Religious programs also involved

Amidst this busy tour, he also took time for spirituality. Shri Maurya reached the Shri Kamatanath Giri temple located on the world famous Kamadgiri mountain and visited the Lord and prayed and sought the blessings of happiness, prosperity for the people of the state.

Apart from this, he also participated in the ‘Prajapati Mahasammelan’ organized to commemorate the birth anniversary of Padma Shri Dr. Ratnappa Kumhar ji and honored talented children there. He also went to the house of former BJP District President Shri Chandra Prakash Khare Ji to go to his house.

With this visit of Deputy CM, there is a new hope and confidence among the people of Chitrakoot that now this district will now create a distinct identity on the map of the state not only religious tourism but also the mainstream of development.
