The Yogi government has approved a plan to settle a huge ‘New Agra-Mathura Urban Center’ from Jewar Airport to Kuberapur in Agra.
This will not be a small township, but a whole city. Imagine, city where there are wide roads, greenery parks, good schools and hospitals for children, and new employment opportunities for youth. Thousands of hectares of land from 122 villages of Agra and Mathura will be used to settle this city.
Why is this plan so special?
Its aim is to create a city that develops with complete planning, so that people living here do not have to face problems like jam, dirt or chaos in future. The government aims to settle about 14 lakh people here by 2041. This means that millions of families’ dream of their home will be fulfilled in this new city.
Under this scheme, the city will be divided into separate zones-if there will be houses to live somewhere, there will be a big industry, and somewhere shopping malls and markets will be built. The city will be settled keeping in mind the future needs.
