DND flyway elevated road project: There is a great news for the residents of Noida! Soon, elevated road will be built from DND flyway to Sector 57/58, which will reduce the traffic congestion. After this, the journey of 40 minutes will be completed in just 10 minutes. This project will facilitate traffic in busy areas like Sector 57, 58, 59, 65 and Mamura of Noida.
Approval received after 13 years
The project was first proposed in 2012 and in 2015, the then Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav laid the foundation stone. But for many years, the scheme remained in cold storage. Now the Noida Authority has approved its construction.
What will be the benefit?
- Traffic will be reduced: The creation of an elevated corridor will reduce the pressure of vehicles on the busy routes of Noida.
- Time Saving: Currently 40 minutes of journey will be completed in 10 minutes.
- Better connectivity: A direct and fast journey will be ensured from DND flyway to Sector 57/58.
What is the plan now?
CEO Lokesh M of Noida Authority has given theoretical approval to this project. Now a detailed project report (DPR) will be prepared by IIT-Roorkee, in which:
- Root survey
- cost estimation
- Entry and Exit Points
- Other technical details
Will be included. This report will be introduced within 6 months, after which the construction work will begin.
Project route
The starting point of this elevated road will be DND flyway and the last end Sector 57 intersection. This project will give a new dimension to Noida’s traffic and will make the journey of millions easier.
