Many farmers were hoping that they would get the next installment of Rs 2,000 on the occasion of Diwali, but it did not happen. Now the good news is that it has been revealed from media reports and various sources that this installment is going to come in your account in the beginning of November itself!
In fact, under this ambitious scheme of the Central Government, a total financial assistance of Rs 6,000 is given to the farmers of the country every year, which is transferred directly to their bank accounts in three equal installments (Rs 2,000 each). The wait for this 21st installment was becoming long for some time. However, providing relief to the flood affected farmers of some states like Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Uttarakhand and Jammu and Kashmir, their installments have already been sent. Now there is every possibility that the payment process for the remaining beneficiaries will also start in the first week of November.

Let us tell you that you will get the benefit of this scheme only when you have e-KYC (Electronic Know Your Customer) process and your Aadhar card Linked to your bank account. If you have not done either of these tasks yet, complete them immediately. If this work remains incomplete, your next installment may get stuck.
How to do e-KYC?
You can easily do e-KYC by visiting the official website of PM Kisan Yojana (pmkisan.gov.in) through OTP from your Aadhaar number. If you face any problem in this, you can also go to your nearest Public Service Center (CSC) and get this process completed.
