News India Live, Digital Desk: Honeymoon has turned into a nightmare for a newly married couple from Ranchi who reached Dubai with beautiful dreams of a new life after marriage. Due to the increasing military tension between America, Israel and Iran and the war in the Gulf region, Atul Oraon and his wife Dr. Kanchan Bada Are stuck there.

After the cancellation of flights from Dubai International Airport, the couple has now made a touching appeal to the Jharkhand government and the Central government for their safe return.

‘Captured’ in hotel amid thunder of missiles

Ranchi resident Atul Oraon, who is an officer in SAIL, reached Dubai on February 27 with his wife Dr. Kanchan Bada. Their return was scheduled for March 4, but at the last moment the sky over the Gulf region echoed with missiles and air strikes. Atul told that they are safe, but seeing the war-like situation and suspension of flights from the hotel balcony, there is an atmosphere of fear.

Honeymoon excitement turned into fear

Dr. Kanchan Bada, who is a dentist at Chandwa CHC, said that he wanted to make his first visit memorable. Suddenly a war situation arose between the moments spent at Burj Khalifa and the beautiful locations of Dubai. According to Kanchan, “There is silence outside the hotel and every new news is increasing the worry. Now we just want to return safely to our families.”

Heartbeats of family members increased in Ranchi

Here in Ranchi, there is an atmosphere of deep concern in the families of both. The family has sought intervention from Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren and the Ministry of External Affairs. Atul’s family has appealed that in coordination with the Indian Embassy in UAE, special flight arrangements should be made for the newlywed couple and other Jharkhandis stranded there.

According to reports, not only Atul and Kanchan, but people close to Jharkhand 100 other people are also stranded in Dubai and surrounding areas. Many of these people had gone on a corporate tour.
