New city is going to settle in Uttar Pradesh, 16 thousand farmers of 80 villages will change their luck

A historical step is being taken towards the development of Uttar Pradesh. Noida is working rapidly on the plan to settle a new city, which is expected to change a major change in the economic and social status of about 16,000 farmer families from 80 villages. The project is named “New Noida” and will be developed under Dadri-Noida-Ghaziabad Investment Region (DNGIR).

New Noida format and land acquisition process

The Noida Authority has actively carried forward the scheme after getting approval from the government in November 2024.

• So far 3165 hectares of land has been identified for acquisition in the first phase.
• Overall, the land of about 80 villages will be acquired in this project.
• In the first phase, 15 villages have been included in this scheme, where about 200 farmers families will join each village.

Drone survey will monitor

It has been decided by the New Noida Authority that illegal constructions will be identified and monitored with drone technology.

• Land will be developed in the entire area 209.11 sq km (20911.29 hectares).
• Information about vacant land, under construction structures, roads, parks, schools, colleges, industrial areas and residential use will be collected through drone survey.
• Notices will be issued to the encroachers on the basis of the survey, and then bulldozer action will be taken.

Survey process and time limit

• The selected companies will present the presentation in the meeting to be held after 20 April 2025.
• The survey work will start in the first or second week of May 2025 and will be completed in 10-15 days.
• After the survey report is prepared, further action will be taken to the CEO of Noida Authority, on the basis of which further action will be taken.

Which villages will be surveyed?

Drone will come under the survey:

• 60 villages of Bulandshahr district
• 20 villages of Gautam Budh Nagar
  These villages will include the measurement of land, measles number, construction status and use details. Any construction done without permission after October 2024 will be considered illegal.

Status on compensation

The land acquisition process will be done with the consent of local bodies and farmers.

• The final decision has not been taken regarding the rate of compensation.
• An additional meeting has been planned for this, in which the compensation amount will be fixed.
