NDA MP, Dimple, who came in support against Maulana, know what answer?

Post

The case recently came into the discussion in Parliament when Maulana Sajid Rashidi, president of the All India Imam Association (AIIA), made objectionable and indecent remarks against Samajwadi Party (SP) MP Dimple Yadav. This incident created a stir in the political corridors, especially among the NDA MPs.

What was the whole matter?

Maulana Sajid Rashidi had questioned his costumes and behavior in the context of a mosque visit of Dimple Yadav during a TV debate. He compared Dimple Yadav to another SP MP Iqra Hasan, who covered his head in the mosque. Rashidi alleged that Dimple Yadav did not follow the mosque rules, violating Islamic beliefs. His comment was described as vulgar, communal and anti -women.

NDA MPs Stand:

After the incident, NDA MPs raised the issue in the Parliament complex and protested against Maulana Sajid Rashidi’s comments. They were shouting slogans like “insulting women power, not tolerate Hindustan”. Many NDA women MPs, including BJP MP flute Swaraj and JD (U) MP Lovely Anand, described the remarks as “embarrassing, objectionable and unacceptable”. He demanded the Samajwadi Party and especially Akhilesh Yadav to raise their voice in support of his wife on the issue, and alleged that they were silent due to ‘vote bank politics’. NDA MPs called it an attack on women dignity.

Dimple Yadav’s answer:

When NDA MPs raised their voice against Maulana’s comments, Dimple Yadav reacted that it would have been more meaningful if the NDA’s Manipur violence had shown solidarity on the misconduct of women during incidents like Manipur violence. He also said that it was a good thing to lodge an FIR against Maulana, but he indirectly sarcasted BJP that even after incidents like ‘Operation Sindoor’, his leaders had made unfair statements against women officials of the Indian Army, and the NDA did not support him at that time.

In short, the NDA MPs spoke to Maulana’s honor of the dignity, opposing Maulana’s indecent remarks against Dimple Yadav. At the same time, Dimple Yadav, questioning the significance of this protest, reminded the NDA of showing solidarity with women on issues like Manipur and Operation Sindoor.
