Nature’s havoc in Jharkhand, disaster will rain from the sky, Meteorological Department issued heavy rain and orange alert

Amidst the scorching heat and humidity, the Meteorological Department has issued a very scary warning for many districts of the state. Within the next 24 to 48 hours, there is a possibility of heavy rain, hailstorm and stormy winds in large parts of Jharkhand. Considering the seriousness of the situation, the Meteorological Center has issued ‘Orange’ and ‘Yellow’ alerts for many districts.

Cyclonic winds will be seen in these districts

According to the Meteorological Department, the deep impact of Cyclonic Circulation is being seen in the central and eastern parts of the state. Due to its effect, dust storms can occur at a speed of 40 to 50 kilometers per hour in areas like Ranchi, Jamshedpur, Bokaro, Dhanbad and Hazaribagh. There will be a cloud of dark clouds in the sky and there is a strong possibility of torrential rain accompanied by thunder. The administration has advised people to take shelter in pucca houses and not stand under trees or electric poles during inclement weather.

Farmers are worried, there is a possibility of danger to crops due to hailstorm

Most concern is being expressed about farmers. The Meteorological Department has warned that hail may fall in some areas of Palamu, Garhwa and Santal Parganas. This sudden hailstorm can cause huge damage to Rabi crops and mango horticulture. There has also been a fear of lightning, in view of which farmers working in the fields have been asked to take special precautions.

There will be a huge drop in temperature, there will be relief from humidity

For the last few days, people of Jharkhand were troubled by the scorching humidity and rising mercury. However, after this seasonal change, the maximum temperature may drop by 3 to 5 degrees Celsius. This will give people relief from the heat, but the risk of life getting disrupted due to strong winds and rain has also increased. Waterlogging may occur in low-lying areas, which is also expected to affect traffic.

The weather pattern will remain like this for the next 4 days

Meteorologists believe that this change is not just for one day. Intermittent rain and thunderstorms will continue in various parts of Jharkhand for the next three to four days. The weather can become more aggressive especially in the evening. The department has also suggested disaster management teams to remain alert in Orange Alert areas so that any emergency situation can be dealt with.
