
The Madhya Pradesh government has announced financial assistance of Rs 20 crore each to Kerala and Tripura affected by natural disaster. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav made this announcement on the occasion of Sri Krishna Janmashtami.
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced through a post on the social media platform 'X' that several states, including Madhya Pradesh, have been affected by heavy rains, floods and landslides. Tripura and Kerala have faced particularly severe natural disasters in the last few days.
CM Yadav said, It is extremely sad to see the massive loss of life and property due to natural disaster. On the auspicious occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami, on behalf of the Madhya Pradesh government, I have decided to donate Rs 20 crore each to the state governments of Tripura and Kerala to aid their relief efforts. The Madhya Pradesh government is with both the states in this hour of crisis. My condolences to the people affected by the disaster. I pray to Lord Krishna to overcome this crisis soon.
