Monsoon Alert in Jharkhand: In many areas including Ranchi, there will be heavy rain thunderstorms today

The Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a forecast that on Friday, various districts of the state, including Ranchi, may receive heavy rains with roar. Along with this, there has also been a possibility of thunderclap (lightning), for which people have been advised to take special precautions. The weather department has informed that there will be light to moderate rains almost everywhere in the state from today, but there may be some moderate to moderate rainfall. The state has recorded good rainfall in some areas in the last 24 hours, especially 75 mm (mm) rainfall has been recorded in Torpa, which is the amount of good rainfall. Along with this, Ramgarh received 72.8 mm, Tenughat 57.2 mm and Lohardaga 53.6 mm rainfall. Many other areas have also seen mild to moderate rainfall, which is a sign of monsoon activity in the entire state. The sky will remain cloudy since morning in Ranchi and surrounding areas, and there is a possibility of heavy rains in many places. According to meteorologists, the monsoon trough which extends to the low pressure area at present to Porbandar, Udaipur, Guna, Damoh, Ambikapur and the Bay of North-East Bengal on the southeast, is drawing moisture in the state and promoting good rains. This means that for the coming few days, such a weather environment will remain in the state. This rain will bring some relief for the people who are struggling with heat and humidity, but it is also necessary to be careful with the situations arising due to thunderstorms and sudden heavy rains. The Meteorological Department has appealed to the people to stay in safe places during bad weather and avoid standing under trees or near electric poles. The State Disaster Management Department is also on alert and is ready to deal with any unexpected situation.
