Modi spoke to Trump on the phone and congratulated him

There has been a phone conversation between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Donald Trump. This is the first conversation between the two leaders after Trump became President. Donald Trump became the President of America for the second time after taking oath on January 20. According to sources, the two leaders discussed bilateral relations between India and the US during telephone conversations.

Prime Minister Modi said in a post on X that my friend was very happy to talk to President Donald Trump. He congratulated Trump for his historical second term. He said that we are committed to mutually profitable and reliable partnership.

He said that we will work together for the welfare, global peace, prosperity and security of the people. PM Modi had earlier spoken to Trump after winning the presidential election on 7 November.

During the conversation, Trump praised Prime Minister Modi and described him as a great person and said that the whole world loves him. India is a great country and he considers PM Modi and India a true friend. The two leaders have agreed to work together for world peace.
