Anjali Kumari Singh, a rising player of Madhya Pradesh State Boxing Academy, has brought glory to the country and the state by winning a silver medal in the 57 kg category in the U-19 World Boxing Championship held in Colorado, America. In the semi-finals, Anjali performed brilliantly and defeated Okayama Sakura of Japan by a margin of 5:0, thereby making it to the finals.

Public Relations Officer Durgesh Raikwar said on Saturday that Anjali faced England's Tiyah-Mai Ayton in the final match. Despite the struggle against the English player in this tough match, Anjali had to be satisfied with the silver medal. However, the entire state is proud of his achievement. His hard work and dedication have brought glory to the country. Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Vishwas Kailash Sarang congratulated Anjali on this historic success and wished her a bright future.
