Even though there is mild sunshine during the day, the shivering in the morning and evening has now started turning into shivering. According to the Meteorological Department, this is just the beginning, the severity of cold is going to increase further in the coming days. Ranchi-based Meteorological Center has issued a forecast for the entire next week, according to which there will be a rapid decline in temperature.

Minimum temperature will drop by 5 degrees in the next 5 days

According to the Meteorological Department, the flow of north-westerly winds has increased in the state, which are bringing coolness with it. Due to the effect of these cold winds, there may be a huge drop in the minimum temperature of the state by 4 to 5 degrees Celsius in the next five days. Due to this, the nights and mornings will become very cold and people will feel the severe cold. The minimum temperature in the capital Ranchi and surrounding areas is expected to reach between 12 to 14 degrees Celsius.

There will be effect of fog and mist in the morning

With the increasing cold, the effect of fog and mist has also started appearing in the morning. The Meteorological Department has warned that there may be light to moderate fog in many parts of the state in the morning for the next few days. This will reduce visibility, hence those driving on the road have been advised to take special caution. However, as the day progresses the sky will clear and the sun will shine.

The effect of snowfall in the mountains is visible

Meteorologists say that the effect of snowfall in the hilly areas of North India is now clearly visible on the weather of Jharkhand. The icy winds coming from there are rapidly dropping the temperature of the plains. This year, due to the effect of La Niña, there is a possibility of cold lasting for a long time.

Doctors advised to be cautious

In view of this rapid change in weather, doctors have advised people, especially children and the elderly, to take special precautions. To avoid cold, wear warm clothes and avoid going out in the morning and evening.
