Mega ‘PM Mitra’ Textile Park to be made in Uttar Pradesh: Employment for millions, will get huge investment!

A very large and important project on the border of Lucknow and Hardoi districts of Uttar Pradesh is taking a real form. The Central Government’s ambitious PM Mitra Textile Park is being developed on the PPP (public-private partnership) model. This park will not only create new employment opportunities for millions of people, but will also promote investment in the state.

This mega textile park will be built on the land of more than 1,000 acres on the border of Lucknow and Hardoi. Its main objective is to bring the entire value chain of the fabric industry under the same roof to ‘fiber to fashion’ (fiber to apparel). This means that all the work from cotton production to making threads, weaving clothes, preparing it and then making fashion costumes will be done in one place. This will reduce the cost of the industry and will also speed up the process.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath himself is constantly monitoring the progress of this project. The Union Ministry of Textiles is also giving full support to the state government in developing this park. The identity of the land has been completed and the master plan of this mega park is also almost ready.

Through this PM Mitra Park, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘5F’ vision will be realized. ‘5f’ means:

1. Form to fiber (filament from farm): That is to get fiber directly from farmers.

   
   

2. Fiber to Factory (Fire -making factory): Turn the fiber directly into the factory.

3. Factory to Fashion (Factory Caste): Fabrics made in the factory to mold in fashionable costumes.

4. Fashion to Foreign (Export of Apparel): Exporting finished costumes to international markets.

This park will also directly benefit the local farmers, weavers and artisans, as their produce and art will get a direct market. This project will play an important role in increasing the identity of Indian fabric products worldwide and improving our competition capacity. Overall, this PM Mitra Park will prove to be a big step towards fulfilling the dreams of ‘Self -reliant India’ and ‘Vocal for Local’.
