Kumbh Mela 2025: The great festival of Mahakumbh has started in Prayagraj. Today is the first bath of Mahakumbh and today is also a very auspicious and special date. The Uttar Pradesh government has also given a big gift to the devotees and fixed its price at a low price.
Less than half the price of a helicopter ride
Helicopter fare for Mahakumbh has now reduced by more than half to Rs 1296 per person. Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh said in a statement that ‘7-8 minute helicopter journey will start from January 13. The helicopter fare will now be Rs 1,296 per person, which was earlier Rs 3,000.
Booking will be done through Upstdc website
This journey will give tourists an aerial view of the grand Maha Kumbh area from above Prayagraj city. The ride can be booked online through www.upstdc.co.in and will be facilitated by Pawan Hans, a Government of India initiative. The official statement also said that travel will be managed depending on the weather. The UP Tourism and Culture Department has also prepared water and adventure sites at the fair site.
Along with this, there will also be a water laser show and drone show along with other activities from 24 to 26 January. Famous artists from across the country will perform during the 40-day fair. In which UP Day will also be included. Singer Shankar Mahadevan is scheduled to perform at Ganga Pandal here on January 16 and the closing performance will be given by Mohit Chauhan on February 24.
