The scorching heat and hot winds in Jharkhand have completely disrupted life. In most of the districts of the state, the temperature remains between 40 to 45 degrees Celsius, due to which people are in distress. The Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued warnings for various parts of the state.

Palamu is the hottest, recorded a temperature of 45.2 degrees

On Thursday, the highest heat in the state was recorded in Palamu district, where the maximum temperature reached 45.2 degrees Celsius. Apart from this, the temperature of Koderma, Gumla, West and East Singhbhum and Seraikela also remained between 40 to 43 degrees.

Meteorological Department’s alert and forecast

According to Meteorological Department scientist Abhishek Anand, the maximum temperature in the state is 2 to 5 degrees higher than normal.

  • Heat wave (loo): There is a possibility of heat wave in Palamu, Chatra, Garhwa, Lohardaga, Koderma and Hazaribagh on Friday.

  • Orange Alert: Meteorological Department for Santal Division, Dhanbad and Bokaro districts ‘Orange Alert’ Has been released.

  • chance of rain: Except these districts, there may be light rain with strong wind at isolated places in the remaining parts including Ranchi.

  • Situation for next 5 days: There are less chances of getting relief from the heat in the state for the next 5 days. Temperature in many districts including Ranchi Further increase of 1 to 2 degrees It is possible that the humidity will increase further.
