Existence of small drug dealers in danger: JKDA

Officials of Jharkhand Chemists and Druggists Association (JKDA) have expressed strong anger over the arbitrariness of corporate companies:

Allegation of illegal sale: Making serious allegations, Association President Umesh Kumar Srivastava said that e-pharmacy platforms are selling medicines online indiscriminately without adequate and stringent prescription verification, which is dangerous for health.

Opposition to making the temporary rule permanent: General Secretary of the Association, Subhash Chand Mandal, while exposing the diplomatic reality, said that the notification issued regarding e-pharmacy during the Covid period was merely a temporary cult arrangement. But the government has continued it till now, due to which the stringent provisions of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act are being weakened.
