This was his sixth consecutive visit, in which he offered prayers at the Bankebihari temple in Vrindavan and then visited the Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi directly. After visiting the birthplace, he also attended the program going on at Mathura University. During his address, Chief Minister Yogi once again indicated the need for the much -awaited Bankebihari Temple Corridor (Corridor) in Vrindavan about the development of Mathura. He said that the government will soon take a positive decision in this regard, so that the devotees who come here do not have any shortage of facilities and their journey can be more easy. This is not the first time that Chief Minister Yogi has said such a thing about Bankebihari Corridor. Even before this, he has expressed his desire to build it many times. Their gesture is a clear indication that the government is taking this project seriously, which aims to control the crowd in the temple and help the devotees to see without any obstruction. The construction of the corridor will improve facilities at this holy place and will ensure a comfortable experience for millions of devotees. The Chief Minister also inaugurated various development projects worth about one hundred and fifty crore rupees being started in Mathura, including projects related to the promotion of cow dynasty, development of Braj, expansion of education facilities and improving the facilities of devotees. He reiterated that Uttar Pradesh is now moving towards the goal of ‘self -sufficient Uttar Pradesh’ and has a special contribution of Braj land. In his address, Chief Minister Yogi said that Uttar Pradesh is moving fast and under the leadership of the Prime Minister, his government is taking the state on a new path of development. He described the participation of every district and every region in the development of Uttar Pradesh as important. According to him, in the last six and a half years, the government has given a unique identity to each district of the state and this identity is associated with their local traditions, rich heritage and cultural values. This development is not only physical, but also a symbol of cultural and spiritual upliftment. The Bankebihari Corridor is a part of this broader approach, which aims to promote tourism, create employment and nurture religious faith. This will not only strengthen the image of Mathura and Vrindavan globally, but will also create economic opportunities for the local people.
