Jail for infiltrators in Uttar Pradesh; The state government instructed the administration to take strict action

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed the administration to take strict action against infiltrators and illegal immigrants. A government spokesperson said on Saturday that instructions have been issued to all district magistrates in this regard.

A statement issued by the government said that the Chief Minister has also given instructions to set up temporary detention centers in every district of the state to detain infiltrators. The government said that illegal infiltrators with foreign citizenship will be kept in detention centers after which the necessary verification process will be completed. Subsequently, as per the established procedure, these infiltrators will be deported to their country of origin.

According to the information given by the government, law and order, national security and social harmony are its top priorities and the Chief Minister’s stance is that any kind of illegal activity will not be tolerated in the state. There is an open border between Uttar Pradesh and Nepal. Through this, there is unhindered movement of citizens of both the countries into each other’s country. The administration says that infiltrators are coming to India through this route.
