Farmers ready for Delhi march: Farmers have prepared to march from Shambhu border to Delhi for the third time. For which a group of farmers will leave at 12 noon on Saturday. On the other hand, Haryana has also made strong barricades to stop the farmers. The agitating farmers are protesting at the Shambhu border since 13th February. Farmers will now try to go to Delhi on foot without tractor-trolley.

Farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal is on an indefinite fast at the Khanauri border of Punjab-Haryana regarding the demands of the farmers. Due to the fast his health is continuously deteriorating. He has been fasting for more than 17 days. Therefore, while directing immediate medical help to Dallewal, the Supreme Court on Friday said, ‘The protesting farmers should adopt the Gandhian method of protest.’
Supreme Court expressed concern about Dallewal’s health
The Supreme Court on Friday expressed concern over Dallewal’s health. A division bench of Justice Surya Kant and Justice Ujjwal Bhuyan said, ‘Dallewal should be given immediate medical aid, but he should not be forced to break the fast. Dallewal’s life is more valuable than the movement. Preventing their health from deteriorating should be your priority.
Dallewal is on fast since 26th November
Dallewal has been on a hunger strike since November 26 at the Khanauri border between Punjab and Haryana to pressure the Center to accept the demands of the agitating farmers, including a legal guarantee of MSP (minimum support price) for crops.
Farmers under the banner of Samyukt Kisan Morcha (Non-Political) and Kisan Mazdoor Morcha have been camping at the Shambhu and Khanauri border between Punjab and Haryana since February 13 after security forces stopped the farmers’ march towards Delhi.
Police ready to stop farmers’ Delhi march
Farmers on the Shambhu border of Haryana-Punjab are preparing to march to Delhi for the third time today. A group of 101 farmers will proceed to march from Shambhu towards Delhi while police and paramilitary forces stand ready with barricades at the Haryana border. Haryana Police foiled two attempts of farmers to march towards Delhi, while many farmers were injured by tear gas shells fired during this period.
Now when the farmers are ready to march towards Delhi on Saturday, the police has also made preparations to stop them. Due to security reasons, internet service may also be stopped in the villages around Shambhu border.
