News India Live, Digital Desk: In the Bah area of Tajnagari, a 15-year-old minor student embraced death after being fed up of terror and teasing by miscreants. It is alleged that a young man from the same area and his associates blocked the girl student’s path, misbehaved with her and tried to forcibly abduct her. Feeling badly frightened and humiliated by this incident, the student went home and committed suicide.

| arrest | According to sources, the police raided and detained one accused, while the others are absconding. |
3. Huge anger among villagers
There is an atmosphere of tension in the entire village after the incident. Villagers say that the morale of miscreants in the area is so high that it has become difficult for daughters to leave the house. The villagers also demonstrated demanding early arrest of the accused and strictest punishment (hanging or bulldozer action).
4. Administration’s response
The Area Officer (CO) said that in view of the sensitivity of the matter, additional police force has been deployed in the village. The police have assured the family that the case will be investigated in ‘fast track’ mode and no culprit will be spared.
When will daughters be safe?
This incident in Agra once again exposes the claims of ‘Mission Shakti’ and police patrolling. It is shameful for the society that a brilliant student leaves the world like this. Experts believe that unless the police takes immediate and strict action in cases like molestation, there will be no fear of law in the minds of criminals.
