News India Live, Digital Desk: Girls have once again proved their mettle in the 10th (Matriculation) results declared by Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC). This year’s exam results were not only excellent, but the list of toppers has also surprised everyone. Not one or two, but four students have captured the first place in the state merit list. All of them have brought glory to the entire state by securing 498 marks out of 500 (99.60%).

Ranchi’s dominance: Two promising candidates from the capital won

The special dominance of the capital Ranchi has been seen in this ‘quartet’ of toppers. Ranchi’s Prem Kumar Sahu (Premchand High School, Mesra) and Sunny Kumar Verma (St. Aloysius High School) have brought glory to the city by securing first position in the state. Along with these, Priyanshu Kumari of Hazaribagh and Shivangi Kumari of Simdega have also shown their academic talent by jointly securing first position. There is a wave of happiness in the local education world due to two students from the capital being on top.

Total result was 95.27%: Gumla district remained first

The overall pass percentage of Jharkhand Board this year has been recorded at 95.27%, which shows the improving educational level of the state. If we talk about district wise performance, Gumla district stood first in the entire state with 99.32% pass percentage. Dumka and Pakur also performed brilliantly and secured second and third position respectively. Girls outperformed boys and achieved a pass rate of 95.51%, while the pass percentage of boys was 95.01%.

Great performance of Indira Gandhi Girls School

Indira Gandhi Girls School located in Hazaribagh has once again performed as per its reputation. State topper Priyanshu Kumari is a student of this school. Not only this, many girl students of this school have secured their place in the top-3 merit list. Vaishnavi Shri and Julieta Minz of Hazaribagh along with Divyanshu Oraon and Khilesh Sahu of Gumla have registered their presence at the second position by getting 99.20% marks. The state government and JAC administration have congratulated the successful students for their bright future.
