In Janata Darshan, Keshav Maurya gave instructions to the officials to take prompt and regular action on complaints like serious illness, water, roads, encroachment and illegal construction.


Organized ‘Janta Darshan’ program at his official residence today. During this time, a huge crowd of hundreds of complainants and complainants from all over the state gathered. Keshav Prasad Maurya, Deputy Chief Minister, showing sensitivity, met all the complainants one by one and listened to their problems very seriously.

In ‘Janata Darshan’, mainly serious complaints like disputes related to water, drains, roads, roundabouts, police, encroachment and illegal construction came to the fore. Taking immediate cognizance of these matters, Shri Maurya spoke on phone to the senior officials of the concerned departments and issued instructions to take prompt and strict action on the spot.

The poor and sick got assurance of quick justice

During the Janata Darshan, many needy people placed their personal and health related problems before the Deputy Chief Minister, on which he immediately directed the concerned officials:

• Request for housing scheme: Mrs. Lajja Devi (wife Amar Singh), resident of Moradabad, and Mr. Heera Lal (son Shripal), resident of Sitapur, requested to provide housing under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. On this, the Deputy Chief Minister gave instructions to check the eligibility and allot the house as soon as possible as per the rules.

• Financial assistance for treatment: Mrs. Priyanka (wife of Mr. Anil Kumar) of Ambedkar Nagar requested for financial help for the treatment of her husband’s illness and Mr. Awadhesh Kumar of Balamau requested for financial help for the treatment of serious illness. Taking both the matters seriously, Shri Maurya gave strict instructions to the Health Department and the concerned officials to provide financial assistance immediately.

Officers should work as public servants: Deputy Chief Minister

Addressing the people who came for Janata Darshan, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya said that the officers have been clearly directed to listen to the problems of the public with full sensitivity and attention. He said that officers should consider themselves as public servants and carry out their work and solve every problem in a systematic and time bound manner. Any kind of laxity or negligence will not be tolerated in this.
