In Action Mode: CM Yogi Transfers Large Number of IAS and 19 PCS Officers in UP

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s government is continuously taking major decisions to make the law and administrative system of Uttar Pradesh more efficient. In this context, the government has once again made a major reshuffle in the administrative staff. The government has transferred one IAS and 19 Provincial Civil Services (PCS) officers. Under this reshuffle, IAS Ram Mohan Meena, who was Joint Magistrate of Moradabad, has been promoted and appointed as the new Chief Development Officer (CDO) of Pratapgarh district. Along with this, 19 senior PCS officers posted in various districts and authorities of the state have been shifted.

ADM and city magistrate of many districts changed

According to the list released by the government, Srishti Dhawan has been given the new responsibility on the important post of Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) of Sultanpur district. Apart from this, new ADMs have been deployed in important districts like Meerut, Muzaffarnagar, Bulandshahr, Jalaun and Gautam Buddha Nagar. Whereas Unnao and Hardoi districts have got new city magistrates.

The complete list of new appointments of PCS officers whose areas of work have been changed under the administrative reshuffle is as follows:

  • Srishti Dhawan: Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), Sultanpur

  • Sushil Pratap Singh: Registrar, Bhatkhande Culture University, Additional Director, Directorate of Culture and Joint Secretary, Lucknow Development Authority (LDA).

  • Durgesh Mishra: Additional Municipal Commissioner, Gorakhpur Municipal Corporation

  • Brajesh Kumar Singh: Additional District Magistrate (City), Meerut

  • Aniruddha Pratap Singh: Additional District Magistrate (Finance and Revenue), Muzaffarnagar

  • Alok Kumar Verma: Additional Commissioner, Varanasi

  • Manoj Kumar Singh: Municipal Magistrate, Unnao

  • Rajeev Raj: Additional District Magistrate (Finance and Revenue), Jalaun

  • Gaurav Ranjan Srivastava: Additional Municipal Commissioner, Gorakhpur Municipal Corporation

  • Anupam Mishra: Deputy Secretary, Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC)

  • Seema Pandey: Additional Municipal Commissioner, Varanasi Municipal Corporation

  • Nitish Kumar Singh: Additional District Magistrate (Administration), Bulandshahr

  • Pramod Kumar Pandey: Additional Commissioner, Azamgarh Division

  • Ayush Chaudhary: Additional District Magistrate (Finance and Revenue), Sitapur

  • Sunil Kumar Trivedi: Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), Ghazipur

  • Sanjay Kumar: Municipal Magistrate, Hardoi

  • Ajit Kumar Singh: Additional District Magistrate (Finance and Revenue), Gautam Buddha Nagar

  • Suresh Kumar Pal: Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), Ballia

Earlier, there was a major reshuffle in the police department also.

Just before this reshuffle of administrative officers, on Thursday, the Yogi government had also conducted a major surgery in the police department. The government had transferred 9 senior IPS officers including the Additional Director General of Police (ADG) of Kanpur and Agra zones.

Under that transfer, Alok Singh, who was ADG of Kanpur Zone, was given the additional charge of DG Special Security Force along with DG PAC Headquarters. At the same time, ADG of Agra Zone Anupam Kulshrestha was made the new ADG of Kanpur Zone, while SK Bhagat, who was ADG Crime, was given the command of Agra Zone. It is clear from this major reshuffle that the government is continuously monitoring to speed up the work on the ground and keep law and order strong.
