IMD Weather Forecast: Western Disturbance turns the tables of the weather; Alert of heavy rain and hail in many states including Delhi, Gujarat and Rajasthan

There has been a big news of relief for the people suffering from severe heat wave and sultry heat in large parts of the country for the last several days. Due to a new Western Disturbance that has become active, a sudden big and positive change is being seen in the weather across the country. Storms, torrential rains and hailstorms have started in many states including North India.

Meteorologists predict that this pleasant and relief-filled period is going to continue for the next 4 days. Due to this pre-monsoon rain and continuous strong stormy winds, a huge drop of 5 to 10 degrees Celsius can be recorded in the maximum temperature of the country, which will provide great relief to the people from the stinging heat.

Torrential thunderstorms expected in Gujarat and Rajasthan till June 2

According to private weather agency Skymet and the Meteorological Department, the extremely dry and humid weather that has been going on for a long time in Gujarat is now on the verge of ending completely. A cyclonic circulation is forming over south-east Rajasthan, due to which the weather conditions are changing very rapidly.

• Start of rain: There is a strong possibility of rainy season in the areas of East Gujarat and East Rajasthan. By May 31, both the scope and speed of this rain will increase significantly.

• Districts with moderate to heavy rainfall: In eastern Gujarat between 31 May and 2 June Sabarkantha, Mehsana, Gandhinagar, Mahisagar, Kheda, Dahod, Panchmahal, Anand, Ahmedabad and Vadodara. Like, there may be moderate to heavy rain with lightning in major districts. Very heavy rain may also be recorded in some selected areas.

• Condition of Saurashtra and Kutch: Light to moderate rain activities along with dust storm will also be seen in these drought-hit areas, although the intensity of rain here will be slightly less than in the eastern part.

The strongest impact will be seen in Delhi-NCR today, there is also a possibility of hailstorm.

The weather patterns have completely changed in the country’s capital Delhi and its surrounding areas (NCR). Due to pre-monsoon activities, the most extreme form of this change can be seen today i.e. on 30th May. Today and tomorrow (May 31), strong storm, thunder and moderate rain will continue in Delhi-NCR.

Big drop in temperature: > Meteorologists say that due to these continuous storms and rains, the mercury will remain controlled to a great extent in Delhi-NCR for the next three days and the maximum temperature will remain below normal. 36 degrees Celsius Can be limited to around. However, after June 1, the weather will clear again and the temperature may gradually rise to 40 degrees or above by the middle of next week. It is a matter of relief that there is no possibility of a severe heatwave like situation for the entire next week.
