Bullet Train Revolution in India: Tender issued for 7 new high-speed corridors of 4,000 km long, 9 km long tunnel to be built under Jewar Airport

A historic step has been taken to take mobility in India into a whole new era and promote ‘Make in India’. Preparations for laying a bullet train network within the country are now getting a huge and global expansion. National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) has issued a mega global tender for seven new high-speed rail corridors (Bullet Train Corridors) of about 4,000 kilometers long connecting different parts of the country.

This is considered to be the biggest project so far in the direction of making India completely self-reliant in railway infrastructure. The most special thing about this entire mega-project is that a uniform (standard) design will be prepared for the bridges, tunnels, elevated tracks and luxurious stations to be built on all these new routes. Moreover, all these new Bullet Train lines will be completely based on state-of-the-art Indian Engineering Standards, which are being developed to run at a speed of 350 kilometers per hour.

Green signal given to DPR of 4 routes, technical investigation of land started

According to sources associated with NHSRCL, the detailed project reports (DPR) of four important routes out of the proposed seven new bullet train corridors have been officially approved by the Central Government. At the same time, aerial and ground survey work is going on on war footing on the remaining three routes.

To complete the project within the time limit, the Railway Ministry has expedited the process of final mapping of the route, soil investigation and technical investigation of the land. The main focus of the government is to remove all the technical hurdles before the construction starts so that there is no delay in the project.

Delhi-Varanasi Bullet Train Project: India’s unique tunnel to be built under Jewar Airport

The center of most discussion and attraction among the seven new bullet train corridors proposed ‘Delhi-Varanasi High-Speed Rail Route’ It is made. The most unique and surprising thing about this entire route will be the underground bullet train station to be built just below the Jewar International Airport being built in Noida.

To connect this underground station with the country’s main rail network and the bullet train track, a huge tunnel of about 9.4 kilometers long will be built underground. Passing such a long tunnel under a busy and sensitive place like Jewar Airport is being considered one of the biggest and difficult engineering challenges of this decade for Indian engineers.

12 hi-tech stations will be built on Mumbai-Ahmedabad route, Gujarat-Maharashtra will shine

On one hand, tenders for new routes have come, on the other hand, the work on the country’s first ‘Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train Project’ is also in the final stages. A total of 12 state-of-the-art stations are being developed on this 508 kilometer long railway route. This high-speed rail line will bring many major industrial and business cities of Maharashtra and Gujarat within a few hours of each other.

Economic analysts believe that once this bullet train project goes live, unprecedented opportunities for urban development and investment will be created in the areas around all these 12 stations. Especially in cities like Surat, Anand and Vadodara, due to superfast connectivity, the real estate market there is going to get a big boost. According to experts, a bumper jump of 30 to 40 percent can be seen in the prices of commercial and residential properties in these cities in the coming time.

The country’s biggest transport hub will be built from Boisar, Vapi to Sabarmati.

The Bullet Train project will not only reduce travel time but will also completely change the fortunes of industrial areas like Boisar, Vapi, Bharuch and Ahmedabad on its routes. With better and world-class connectivity, these remote areas are expected to see a spate of heavy industries, large logistics parks, modern warehouses and new residential township projects.

Amidst all this, located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat Sabarmati Station It is being transformed into the country’s largest and unique ‘Multi-Modal Transport Hub’. This will be a huge junction where India’s bullet trains, local metro, conventional trains of Indian Railways and bus terminals will be directly connected to each other through indoor walkways. This mega-transformation will see a boom in business, large corporate offices, five-star hotels and the commercial real estate sector in and around Sabarmati that will prove to be the backbone of the Indian economy for decades to come.
