IMD issued orange warning for many districts including Hyderabad, know the condition of September 28:

News India Live, Digital Desk: Heavy Rain Alert in Telangana: The Meteorological Department (IMD) has released ‘Orange Alert’ for Telangana, which has feared a storm with heavy rains and thunderstorms in the state for the next two days. The capital Hyderabad and its surrounding districts are expected to receive the highest rainfall, especially on this weekend. Rainfall may occur at its fastest speed on September 27 and 28.

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has alerted the entire government machinery and directed the authorities to implement extensive security measures. The districts have been asked to implement emergency measures and prepare to make people in flood affected areas to safe places. Traffic police have also been instructed to stop the movement of vehicles on the submerged roads immediately and check the structural integrity of the culverts and bridges. The electricity department has been tasked to ensure uninterrupted power supply and check wires to avoid possible accidents.

The government has also deployed relief and rescue teams (GHMC, Hydraa, NDRF and SDRF) in the affected areas and is fully prepared. Although Dussehra holidays are going on, the authorities have been instructed to take special care of the safety of students in the event of heavy floods. IMD estimates that the weather will gradually become normal from September 29, but by then people have been advised to avoid unnecessary travel and stay inside the houses during heavy rains.
