Kanpur Suicide Case News: A news has come from the court of Kanpur which has raised serious questions on the society and parenting methods. 23-year-old young lawyer Priyanshu, who practiced law with his father in Kanpur court, committed suicide by jumping from the fifth floor of the court building. Before embracing death, Priyanshu has left a very emotional and painful two-page suicide note, in which he has narrated the story of the mental and physical torture he faced since childhood.
“At the age of 6, I was stripped and thrown out of the house for drinking juice.”
In his suicide note, Priyanshu has shared those childhood memories which left deep wounds on his mind. He wrote, “When I was only 6 years old, I took out mango juice from the fridge without asking. For this simple thing, I was stripped and thrown out of the house.” He wrote in the note that parents should be strict, but not so much that the child starts suffocating.
Shadow of pressure and insult at every step
According to the suicide note, Priyanshu’s entire life was spent under the shadow of fear and pressure. She alleged that she was often threatened over small matters.
Forced decisions: She was forced to take Computer Science in Class 9 and was intimidated about her Class 10 marks.
Public Humiliation: He was humiliated in front of his neighbours, due to which his self-confidence was completely shattered.
Job Threat: Even while practicing law, he was repeatedly threatened with eviction from home and work.
‘Don’t let my father touch my body’
The last part of the suicide note will give goosebumps to anyone. Expressing his last wish, Priyanshu wrote, “Don’t let my dad touch my body. I don’t want any legal action to be taken against him because I don’t want to put my family in trouble.” He further wrote, “I wish no one would have such a father. I lost, dad won, congratulations to him.”
A strong message for parents
Before giving up his life, Priyanshu made an emotional appeal to all the parents of the world. He wrote that children should be put under as much pressure as they can bear. Due to the constant mental pressure, he was so broken that he did not see any point in living his life. At present, the police have taken the body into custody and have started investigating the case, but this incident has left behind many unresolved questions.
