Mumbai: After the arrest of film hero Allu Arjun in connection with the death of a woman while running at the premiere show of ‘Pushpa Two’ in Hyderabad, the woman’s husband said that he is ready to withdraw his complaint.
A woman named Revathi died in the stampede while her eight-year-old son was admitted to the hospital due to suffocation. Today, after the arrest of Allu Arjun, Revathi’s husband Magudampalli Bhaskar told the media that he will withdraw the complaint filed in the case.
It is noteworthy that Allu Arjun has been arrested on the basis of the FIR lodged by Bhaskar.
Bhaskar said in an interview to the media that my son wanted to watch a film, so we went to Sandhya Theatre. Allu Arjun had nothing to do with our being there that day. It was not Allu Arjun’s fault in the stampede in the theatre.
Bhaskar said that Allu Arjun was arrested on the basis of my complaint but the police did not inform me about it. I came to know after watching the report on TV.
