New Delhi: Several districts of Kerala and Karnataka have been receiving heavy rains for the last few days, due to which the Indian Meteorological Department IMD has issued an orange alert for the affected districts of both states. The Meteorological Department has warned that heavy to heavy rains may continue in these areas for the next few days.
According to the IMD, due to monsoon activism, wide rainfall activities are being observed in these southern states. The Meteorological Department has advised local residents and passengers to be vigilant, keep an eye on the latest information and take necessary precautions to avoid any emergency. Rain can also cause waterlogging in some low -lying areas.
