He was riding a bicycle without a driving license, so he will not get insurance

Mumbai – Nagpur Consumer Commission has imposed a fine of Rs 100,000 for dismissing a driving license of a person who died while riding an insurance company. An order has been issued to give an amount of three lakhs to the family.

The District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission ruled that the demand for the insurance company was unfair and illegal. The company has also been ordered to pay nine percent interest. Vijay Dobal, a resident of Nagpur, was seriously injured after hitting a motorcycle while riding a bicycle. He later died during treatment.

Dhobale had an insurance policy of three lakh rupees. The wife claimed the insurance amount, but the claim was rejected.

The Consumer Commission said that Dhoble’s wife did not present her husband’s motorcycle driving license, post -mortem report and other documents.

The lawyer expressed surprise on how the company can ask for a driving license if Dhobal was riding a bicycle. The post -mortem report was with the police. The Commission rejected the cause of the company to dismiss the claim.
