After rain or in humid places, we often see a small Peepal plant growing on the roof of our house, in the cracks of the wall or near the water tank. Most of us consider it a minor thing. Some people ignore it, while some people catch it and uproot it.
But wait! If we believe in Vaastu Shastra and our religious scriptures, both these methods are wrong. Peepal tree is revered, but its presence on the ‘wall’ of the house is not considered auspicious. This can act as a ‘speed breaker’ in the progress of your family.
Let us know what should be done and what not if this ‘guest’ has come to your house uninvited.
Mathematics of 48 plants and ‘lock of fate’
A very deep thing has been said in Vastu Shastra. If not one or two but 48 or more Peepal plants have grown on the walls, roof or boundary of your house, then it is considered a very serious ‘Vastu defect’.
What is its effect?
It is believed that this situation is like a ‘red alert’ for the house.
- Financial scarcity: The money earned starts flowing like water.
- Home trouble: Unnecessary fights increase in the house.
- Unfortunately: The work being done starts getting spoiled and a strange negative energy starts appearing in the house.
So should we uproot it and throw it away? (The Big Mistake)
This is the mistake that people often make. Gods are considered to reside in Peepal (in Geeta, Lord Krishna has called himself Peepal among trees). Therefore, plucking it and throwing it away like weeds without thinking is considered a sin and it can further increase the defect.
Right and religious way of removal
If you have to remove peepal from the wall, then use ‘method’ and not ‘force’:
- Pooja is necessary: Contact a qualified Panditji. Get it worshiped properly on any other day except Sunday. Pray to him that “O Tree God, please depart from here so that our house remains safe.”
- Farewell with honor: After worship, carefully remove it along with the roots.
- Provide new location: After uprooting, do not throw it anywhere, rather take it to a park, temple or open ground and replant it with respect.
Benefit:
It is believed that when you remove the defect with this method, the stalled progress of the house starts returning. The family atmosphere becomes calm and the shortage of money gradually goes away.
So next time you see a peepal on the roof, don’t be afraid, just replace it in the right way.
