The real name of Jinnah House is South Court. But during the partition under British rule, it came to be known as Jinnah House and since then it is known by this name. Later, his house in Mumbai became the property of the Government of India, while his daughter Dina Wadia fought to get authority over him till his death. In 2018, the bungalow was handed over to the Ministry of External Affairs by the Government of India, while before that it was with the India Cultural Relations Council. It cost Rs 2 lakh to build this bungalow, but today its price is 1500 crores.
