Gopeshwar. As soon as the doors of Shri Badrinath Dham opened, there has been an influx of devotees and with every passing day the number of devotees is increasing tremendously. Since the doors opened on April 23, a total of 69,044 pilgrims have visited Lord Badri Vishal and gained virtuous benefits.
More than 16 thousand devotees visited in a single day
On Monday, 16,819 pilgrims paid obeisance at the feet of Lord Badri Vishal in a single day at the Dham. Due to this huge crowd of devotees, there is a different atmosphere of splendor and faith in the Dham. Hotels and Dharamshalas are full of travelers and happiness is clearly visible on the faces of local businessmen.
Devotees arriving from India and abroad, activity increased in Mana village also
Devotees are reaching Shri Badrinath Dham not only from every corner of the country but also from abroad. In India’s first village Mana too, there is a wave of enthusiasm among the local shopkeepers and businessmen due to the influx of travelers. From Gauchar, the entrance gate of Chamoli district to Badrinath Dham, all the stops on the entire yatra route are buzzing with the movement of devotees.
The doors of the Dham were opened on 23 April
The doors of Shri Badrinath Dham were opened for the devotees with rituals on 23 April this year. According to tradition, these doors are opened for six months and during this time lakhs of devotees come to seek the blessings of Lord Badri Vishal. From the very first day of opening the doors, the flow of devotees is showing no signs of stopping and it is expected that this number will increase further in the coming days.
