Fire will rain from the sky in Jharkhand, severe heat wave alert for 2 days, know when will there be relief and where will it rain

The Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a ‘yellow alert’ of severe heat wave for the next two days in most parts of the state. From Palamu division to Kolhan, the mercury has crossed 43 degrees Celsius, due to which life has become completely disrupted. However, the news of relief amid the scorching heat is that the weather patterns are going to change soon and there is a possibility of rain in many districts.

Medininagar is hottest, mercury near 40 in Ranchi too

Medininagar (Daltonganj) was the hottest in the state during the last 24 hours, where the maximum temperature 43.4 degrees Celsius Recorded. At the same time, in Jamshedpur and Seraikela the mercury has crossed 42.4 degrees. There is no respite from the heat even in the capital Ranchi, the temperature here 38.6 degrees Celsius has been recorded, which is about 3 degrees more than normal. Due to the scorching heat and intense sunlight, there is silence on the roads during the afternoon.

Weather will change from April 24, chances of rain in these districts

According to Jharkhand Meteorological Center, a major change can be seen in the weather of the state from April 24. Due to moisture coming from the Bay of Bengal, parts of southern and central Jharkhand may become cloudy. There is a possibility of light rain and lightning in some areas of Simdega, West Singhbhum, East Singhbhum, Seraikela-Kharsawan, Gumla, Khunti and Ranchi on April 24 and 25. During this period, winds can also blow at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour.

There is currently no relief from heat wave in these districts

While rain is expected in some parts of the state, heat wave will continue in districts like Garhwa, Palamu, Chatra, Hazaribagh, Koderma and Latehar. The weather will remain dry in these north-western districts and no significant drop in temperature is expected. The Meteorological Department has advised people of these areas not to step out of the house between 12 noon and 3 pm and to drink adequate amount of water.

Impact on animals, birds and farming also

Due to continuously increasing temperature and heat wave, there is a water crisis for animals and birds. At the same time, farmers cultivating vegetables are also worried because their crops are getting burnt due to the strong sunlight. Experts say that if the rains from April 24 are good, the temperature may drop by 2 to 3 degrees, which will give people some relief from the scorching humidity and heat.
