Prices of which medicines increased?
The drugs whose prices have been increased by NPPA include those used in the treatment of glaucoma, asthma, tuberculosis, thalassemia and mental health. The formulations whose rates have increased include Benzyl Penicillin 1 million IU Injection, Salbutamol Tablets 2 mg and 4 mg and Respirator Solution 5 mg/ml. These drugs are used as first-line treatment.
