Nagpur News: At the beginning of the new year, a horrifying incident has come to light from Nagpur, Maharashtra, hearing about which anyone will shudder. A boy studying engineering in Nagpur has been accused of murdering his parents. Nagpur Police gave this information.
Where did the incident happen?
The incident took place in Kapil Nagar area of Nagpur, where 25-year-old Utkarsh Dhakole killed his parents on 26 December. According to the information received from the police, it is suspected that there was a dispute between the accused boy and his parents regarding career and studies, due to which he took this step.
Neighbors complained about the smell
The police came to know about this when the neighbors of the Dhakole family complained about the foul smell on Wednesday (26 December). As soon as the matter came to notice, the police started action and after investigation arrested Utkarsh. After strict interrogation, the accused youth confessed to the murder.

Police said that the bodies were completely decomposed. The deceased have been identified as Leeladhar Dhakole (55) and his 50-year-old wife Aruna. Accused Utkarsh himself confessed to the police that he had allegedly strangled his mother to death on the afternoon of 26 December. Then after returning home at 5 pm, he stabbed his father to death. After this they left the dead bodies there.
Disagreement over failure in engineering
Utkarsh’s mother was a teacher and father was a technician in a power plant and also a social worker. Police investigation prima facie revealed that he killed his parents because of concerns about his education record and career. While studying engineering, Utkarsh failed in many subjects. Therefore his parents wanted him to study further, but he did not want to listen to them. Police said that after investigating the case, Utkarsh has been arrested.
