The police had received intelligence that the prize of 10 lakhs and the zonal commander of TSPC, Shashikant Ganjhu, are going to come to their village Kadal on the occasion of Karma festival. Naxalites firing indiscriminately at midnight
Late at around 12:30 pm, when the police team was moving ahead in the forest, the militants already ambushed there started firing indiscriminately at the soldiers. The police also immediately took the front and retaliated. But in this sudden attack, three soldiers were fired.
Two soldiers lost their lives
The three soldiers injured by the bullet were immediately rushed to the Medical College Hospital in Medininagar, where doctors declared two soldiers, Santan Kumar Mehta and Sunil Ram dead. The martyr Sunil Ram was posted as the bodyguard of ASP (Operation) of Palamu. The injured jawan Rohit Kumar is undergoing treatment, who was shot in the thigh and has been fired and fired.
